The Heart
of Relationship

Can you stay open when relationship touches the places you usually protect?

Join the gathering
An invitation to men

What becomes possible when we meet each other as we are?

The First Fire brought us together. This next chapter asks what becomes possible when we meet each other more fully. We bring our familiar ways of protecting ourselves: performing, withdrawing, pleasing, trying to get it right. Here, we have space to notice what happens underneath them.

Four days of embodied relational practice: feeling more of what is alive in us, expressing it honestly, receiving one another, and discovering how to remain in connection when things get uncomfortable.

Heart iQ Foundation

A living practice.
A new chapter together.

This December, the Heart iQ Foundation invites men to return to the body, to honest expression, and to the connection that grows when we meet in presence.

Heart iQ continues through the people who practise it. Brothers in Tribe carries that work forward through men who have lived and integrated it, and now bring their own experience to the circle.

With Roel and Dan as lead facilitators, this gathering makes room for tenderness, strength and truth. The Heart of Relationship is an invitation to bring the work into the way we meet ourselves, each other, and the people we love.

The invitation

What becomes possible when we allow ourselves to be seen?

What happens in your body when someone comes close? Can you let care in? Can you express what is true without managing how it lands? In the circle, these questions become lived experiences.

The inquiry

“Can I feel what is happening in me, express what is true, and stay open to you?”

The journey

Me. You. Us.

01 / ME

Meeting myself

Can I sense what is happening in my body and make room for feelings I usually override? What changes when I stop trying to fix myself?

02 / YOU

Meeting another

Can I express myself without performing, listen without fixing, and receive another man’s care without closing?

03 / US

Staying in connection

When I feel misunderstood or exposed, do I contract, defend or disappear? Can we notice the rupture, speak honestly and find our way back into contact?

Brotherhood as practice

The men in the room are part of the work.

We can know our patterns in our heads and still find ourselves repeating them. In a circle of men, those patterns can become visible as they happen, with others present to witness and meet us.

Through Heart iQ-inspired Circle Work, embodied awareness, honest expression and deep listening, we explore our capacity to feel, to receive and to stay present. There is room for laughter, discomfort, silence and whatever is genuinely here.

What we will explore

Where we close, and what helps us open

Being seen

Noticing the moment we hide, perform or hold back, and discovering what it is like to be met there.

Boundaries

Feeling your yes and your no, expressing them clearly, and staying connected when another person has a different truth.

Conflict & repair

Recognising our protective reactions, taking responsibility for our impact, and practising the return to contact.
